About AIA

Who we are

The Association of Indian Authors (AIA) is an association of self-published and small press authors working together to provide readers with the best of self-published literature in multiple genres and languages.

Aims and objectives

1. To promote book reading in India amongst all age groups.
2. To provide a platform for authors to promote and market their books.
3. To assist the authors with book publishing-related services.
4. To provide avenues for enhancing writing-related knowledge by way of training, workshops, programs and all types of such activities with the objective of improving capabilities and all types of support services.

What AIA does

To achieve these objectives, AIA undertakes programmes such as:

• Book events: book fairs, literary festivals, school and college literary society interactions, open mics and more.
• Inventory management of all books for events where AIA participates.
• Book marketing: social media promotions, book launches and book shops.
• Publication related services.
• Knowledge enhancement: webinars, seminars and conferences.
• Any other activities AIA wishes to undertake in the future, in line with its aims and objectives.
