Membership

Who can join

AIA does not offer exclusive membership. It aims to add value to members' efforts on their publishing journey in a complementary rather than competitive environment. Members collectively explore resources for organising and taking part in book-related events all over India.

Members should be self-published and/or indie authors, including those published through vanity publishing and small presses, who are either:

• of Indian origin (they need not live in India), or
• residing in India (including foreign nationals).

What members get

• A profile page and a place for their books on this website.
• Support to promote and market their books.
• Chances to take part in book fairs, literary festivals, open mics and other events.
• Training, webinars and workshops on writing and publishing.

Members are expected to work for the success of AIA with trust, honesty and good faith, and to take part in AIA activities. Full details are shared with members when they join.
